Slatine are situated on the east part of Island Čiovo.
The island of Čiovo is connected to mainland by the bridge
in ancient
Trogir so it makes an entirety with a city.
Slatine are 12 km far from Trogir.

Ciovo is island connected by bridge with mainland.
So basically it is island and mainland at the same time.
You can go normally, without any payment, to mainland with your car through bridge which is open 24 hours a day. From
Slatine you can go to Trogir, beside by car, by bus and by boat. Boat goes from
beach every half an hour and its price is only 1,5 euros in one way.
You can also go by boat to Split which is very interesting ( you avoid car
traffic and it is much faster).

for more 4km to the east, with mostly gravel, and sometimes, very rough road.
The centre of the village (a small fishermen port) is where all important
summer happenings take place such as “fisherman's fests". Slatine has all the
necessities you might need: a post office, medical clinic, exchange office, 4
restaurants, and 3 supermarkets. The restaurants offer the Dalmatian food of the
highest quality, the beach bar Lumbrelin organizes every-day-parties with
different performers.
