Slatine, Trogir and Split area

  • Slatine is situated on the east part of Island Ciovo which is an island connected by bridge with mainland. So, basically it is island and mainland at the same time. You can go normally, without any payment, to mainland Trogir or to any other town with your car through bridge which is open 24 hours a day. From Slatine you can go to Trogir, beside by car, by bus or even by boat.
    There is boat connection from Slatine to Split city canter and back and from Slatine to Trogir. Boat runs about 10 times a day during the summer season and it is a very pleasant boat drive.
    Slatine is 12 km far from Trogir. Trogir and Split are well known cultural and tourist cities with numerous sights to see and events to visit. Slatine is famous for its pebble beaches, untouched nature and clean sea.

  • "Sehr ruhig gelegene Wohnung...ältere Austattung, aber funktionell. Das Badezimmer ist neu renoviert. Hausbesitzerin sehr nett. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca 800 m entfernt, Bäcker kommt täglich vor die Haustüre. Wenn man es etwas ruhiger beim Baden haben möchte, ist der ca 80 m entfernte Strand genau das richtige (eine Strandbar vorhanden). Möchte man es etwas lebendiger mit mehr Zulauf haben, dann einfach ca 2,5 km weiter an den Lumbrelin Strand (auch in Slatine / mehrere Strandbars vorhanden) fahren. Wer ein lebendiges Nachtleben bevorzugt, muss ins nahegelegene Trogir mit dem Taxiboot oder Auto fahren...einfach wunderschön und ist auf jedenfalls eine Reise wert."
