Tribunj is a small, authentic dalmatian, fisherman village placed on a small island, which is connected to the mainland by a little, stone bridge. It is located about 5km from more known place Vodice and about 10km from Sibenik.

Tribunj was once known as Jurjevgrad and the name came from a fort on a hill above todays Tribunj. Today one can find the small church of St. Nicolas on this place, or as locals call it St. Mikula.

During the time of turkish attacks, the settlement "descended" to the island, which today with its numerous, narrow streets makes the recognizable town core.

Beaches in Tribunj attract many swimmers in the summer season as they are not overcrowded. Except by beaches, Tribunj is also known for its gastronomic offer - various traditional taverns and restaurants.
